Legal Services Corporation’s ‘By the Numbers’ Report Reflects Ongoing Impact of the Pandemic on Legal Aid
LSC has released “By the Numbers: The Data Underlying Legal Aid Programs.” The new report quantifies the work done by 132 LSC-funded legal aid organizations around the country in 2021. Including both national and state-level data, the report allows for comparisons over time and across different regions.

LSC’s Rural Justice Task Force to Hold Oklahoma City Field Hearing
The Legal Services Corporation (LSC) is convening a field hearing for its Rural Justice Task Force on Tuesday, October 25 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. CDT at the Sheraton Oklahoma CityDowntown Hotel. This is the third meeting of the task force, which began in December 2021to identify major issues that prevent rural Americans from accessing justice in the civil legal system and to promote effective solutions.
