Basic Field Awards
Legal Services Corporation (LSC) has reached funding decisions for the calendar year 2023 grant awards.
On December 29, 2022, President Biden passed the omnibus FY2023 appropriations bill to fund the federal government. The legislation includes a $36 million increase for the FY2023 Basic Field Grant.
The 2023 Basic Field Grant allocations also reflect adjustments based on the 2022 LSC Agricultural Worker Poverty Population estimates provided by the Department of Labor.
The final 2023 funding decisions are available in the Final FY2023 Grant Allocations chart linked below. The funding chart shows the funding term, the grant amount, and the year of the next grant cycle for each service area.

On November 8, 2022, LSC published a list of the grant applicants under consideration for the calendar year 2023 Basic Field Grant awards in the Federal Register. Grants will be awarded so that each service area is served; however, none of the listed organizations is guaranteed an award or contract.
