Basic Field Grant Key Dates
Basic Field Grant Applications for calendar year 2024 funding will be accepted for specified service areas. Applicants filing a grant application for any of the service areas listed must file a pre-application (formerly known as the Notice of Intent to Compete) and submit a grant application in response to LSC's Request for Proposals (RFP). Please note that grant renewal applicants do not file a pre-application.
All applicants will follow the same schedule this year. Review the Key Dates and Activities for the 2025 Basic Field Grant Cycle.

2 | The Notice of Funds Available (NOFA) for the 2025 Basic Field Grant Program will be published in the Federal Register | March 14, 2024 |
3 | The Pre-Application* is released and open for submission in GrantEase, LSC's grants management system *Pre-Application is ONLY required for service areas in competition for the 2025 cycle. Renewal applicants do not need to submit a Pre-Application | April 15, 2024 |
4 | The 2025 Basic Field Grant Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Subgrant Applications released and open for submission in GrantEase | April 15, 2024 |
5 | Applicant webinar for 2025 Basic Field Grant and Subgrant Application Process Register for the webinar here. | April 17, 2024 |
6 | Deadline for submitting Pre-Application* in GrantEase *ONLY for 2025 service areas in competition. Renewal applicants do not need to submit a Pre-Application. | May 8, 2024 |
7 | Deadline for submitting 2025 Basic Field Grant and Subgrant Applications | June 3, 2024 |
